Over the last several months, many people have engaged in concepts such as allyship and unconscious bias. This course provides an introductory overview of these concepts and more.

As a learner, you will gain a deeper understanding of the historical antecedents that have influenced unconscious bias and have informed many of the policies impacting individuals and communities today. Learners will also gain knowledge of how to take action in the personal lives and workplaces to further equity and inclusion for everyone.

Too often, DEI initiatives only focus on inclusion and belonging for marginalized groups. While marginalized groups are most often to experience feelings of isolation in work environment, they are not the only people. The focus of this course is to broaden the intention of diversity and belonging efforts in order to further equity and inclusion for everyone.
